About the Program

In November, the group participated in an analysis of current life conditions and the personal development we will need to undergo if we are to be “fit” for the curriculum of modern, 21st Century life. Graves points out that as your current form of mind solves the immediate problems of your life, success itself creates more complex problems.  We sometimes call these new issues unintended consequences.  The problem is not political, or even social.  It is rather that our rate of technological change has outpaced human ability to cope with the life conditions complex technologies create.

We must widen our perspective to engage in more complex thinking and sophisticated behaviors appropriate to our current complex life conditions.  Join us for an active program of personal development.  This development is something you need to do for yourself; however it’s important to find a supportive environment to help you get there.  Come and start today.

In December, we will continue the process by working to find our growth edges and build individual growth plans based on this understanding.  We will also set up ongoing support groups to keep ourselves on track during this journey.  If you missed the November program, you can still participate in Part II.  Do a quick review of the November handouts and fill out the worksheet the group completed.  Materials are at:  www.technologytransformation.com/APT-HoustonDevelopmentPrograms.htm.
