About the Program
This program, perfect for newcomers to Type and equally valuable to those with Type experience, began with a summary of the 8 functions:
- Extraverted Sensing (Se – Sensory Experience)
- Introverted Sensing (Si – Sensory Memory)
- Extraverted Intuition (Ne – Generating possibilities)
- Introverted Intuition (Ni – Vision and insight)
- Extraverted Thinking (Te – Logical outcomes)
- Introverted Thinking (Ti – Internal analysis)
- Extraverted Feeling (Fe – Harmonizing people)
- Introverted Feeling (Fi – Universal values),
progressed to the hierarchy of functions by Type, followed by a Type dynamics action plan.
Part II delves into Type dynamics and conflict, as well as learning style patterns and Type.
Join us for a fun morning of interactive exercises demonstrating the 8 functions, learning experiences, and interaction styles!
About the Presenter
Len Gomberg is a transition and assessment counselor with over 25 years expertise in such diverse spheres as corporate defense, non-profit, county and Federal government, education and the military. Shortly after retiring from the military in 1993, he earned his Myers Briggs certification and immediately put his expertise to work utilizing the assessment to assist high school and college students, downsized adults and transitioning military. He recently served on the Board of the New York Metro Chapter of APT for two years as its Education Director and maintains his status with the Chapter as its Communication Director.
Len has masters’ degrees in counseling and public policy and a bachelor in political science. As an INFJ he recognizes his shortcomings in putting ideas into action but nonetheless remains enthralled with the possibilities the MBTI® offers and looks forward to serving the Houston Chapter.
